The WordAssist Pleading Builder, since its first version built several years ago, is
the cornerstone of this package. It is a simple, fully automated design tool,
which lets administrators, without any programming, quickly assemble complex
pleading templates. Line numbers; tables of contents, authorities and exhibits;
and court names are incorporated and formatted with an easy-to-use dialog box.
The Pleading Builder also integrates with a database of attorney names and bar
numbers, as well as office addresses and other information.
Features:
- Without any programming, administrators can build fully automated new templates.
- Tables of contents, authorities, and exhibits are automatically formatted.
- Line numbers and logos can be added or removed and line numbers can be toggled to 26, 28, or 36 on an existing pleading.
- The court venue will automatically be moved to line 8 or any subsequent line number.
- Provides additional tools such as Bates labels, special attachments, and automated discovery phrases.
Testimonial:
I have used the Pleading Builder extensively and find that it has taken a lot of the drudge work out of building pleadings for my Firm. I don't have
to worry about defining the section headers and footers. Many of the global changes that are necessary I am able to make by redefining an autotext
entry. Very simple and very stable. Also, I support the template technicians in all of our other offices and have found that support calls have been greatly reduced.
